A Cobblemon community like no other!
These are guides regarding the server's community. This includes things like events and towns.
In order to become an established town or city, you must meet the following criteria:
Most towns and cities are open for newcomers, however you must always check to see if this is the case. A quick way of checking is reading through the town listings and see what requirements they have or reaching out to the mayors of the town in question.
An example of this could be Sorrowmyst from season one, which had the following requirements for living in their city:
In order to become a gym leader for a gym that is not currently taken you must have the following:
To submit a gym leader application, fill out this form.
In the case of a type being taken that you would like to open a gym in, you have to follow these steps to take over officially.
The current gym leader's build will not be transferred if they lose, neither will their pokemon team or badges.
If the current gym leader declines the challenge, you can not force them to accept it.
Here are the guidelines regarding challenging gyms.
To begin facing gyms, you must have a team that meets the minimum level requirement for the gym. Before challenging any gym, you must have at least 1 badge from each of the stages prior to the gym being challenged. The only exception to this is the first bracket gyms, which has no badge requirement. If you wish to challenge a gym in order to overtake the gym leader, read our guide on the topic.
Starter Bracket
The first two gyms are the first hurdle for challengers before they need to check in with the professor to gauge their progress. Depending on their experience, they'll get different rewards.
If they got two badges, but haven't caught a full box of pokemon, they get a reward of pokeballs from the professor to help vary their team.
If they have plenty of pokemon, but struggled to get the two badges, the professor rewards them with some stat affecting berries to start making vitamins.
If they have plenty of pokemon and got the badges with ease, the professor will give them a humbling lesson through battle. If they win they get an ability capsule, but if they lose they get berries for making vitamins.
Standard Bracket
After these three gyms, the check in with the professor involves an activity. If they don't have a flying mount Pokemon, the activity is to find and train a flying mount. If they do have a flying mount, the activity is to help Pidgeot Post deliver flyers to every major town's postal station. Once they return with proof they delivered everything, they get a Pokemon from the professor. This gift Pokemon would be based on their starter Pokemon's type.
Strong Bracket
These three gyms finish up your minimum badge requirements. At the check in with the professor, they will be challenged to a battle. If they win, they get access to the real Arakni Ruins where they'd have a chance to battle and/or catch a mythical Pokemon that resides there.
Elite Trainers
Unlike many regions where there is a set Elite Four to face boss rush style, Aptrumi has Elite Trainers scattered across the region. These are top notch trainers with thematic teams not constricted by a single type. By defeating four, you will qualify to challenge The Champion.
The Champion
In order to become a champion you must face all other qualified trainers in a tournament that happens once a month. The last one standing gets to challenge the current champion. All who participate will be rewarded with those who reach finals being awarded the Elite Trainer title.
If the challenger to face the champion loses, they can still become an Elite Trainer and will recieve an extra prize to help them will next time.
If the challenger wins, they become the new champion and are rewarded a master ball!
Once a town or city is officially established, their representative will be in charge of managing quests for the area. These quests can be created using signs on a notice board, player interaction over text or voice chat, or whatever medium works for those involved.
